COURSE SEQUENCE AND CALENDAR
 
The course is organized into a calendar format that will provide information on the homework assignments, videos, reading assignments and papers on a day by day basis.
 
ASSIGNMENTS AND EXAMS
 
In order for this course to run in sequence, it is important for all students, face to face and at a distance, to keep up with the calendar.  If you need to deviate from the course schedule for any reason, please contact the instructor in advance so appropriate arrangements can be made.

Assignments from distance learners should be faxed or scanned and attached to an e-mail. 

Include your name and assignment number on all work being turned in.

SPE Library
Go to http://library.tamu.edu/ . If you haven't already set up "My Portal", do so; use your Net (Neo) ID and password. (We can help if you don't know how to use your NetID.)

Once you are in "My Portal", hover over the "My Portal" button and click the link to  My Journals & Databases.

In "Search for a", check "E-Journal" and enter SPE into the search box.

Click the book icon to add "SPE Library on the Web" to Manage Resources.

Click SPE Library on the Web to get to the ID/password screen for SPE.

You can add as many links as you want to Manage Resources by clicking the book icon in your search results

WebCT
 
WebCT will be used to access all course materials, communicate with the instructor and other students, submit assignments, and check grades.  Several tutorials have been developed by the WebCT at Texas A&M University to acquaint you with the program.  Please take the time to go through the tutorials below, if needed, to familiarize yourself with the features we will be using in WebCT.  Return to the tutorials at any time during the course if questions arise.
