Jerry Logan


Jerry Logan is Vice President of Strategy and Portfolio for the Energy Services Group (ESG) and is responsible for directing the ESG’s strategic planning and strategic intelligence activities. Before assuming his current role, he served as the ESG’s Vice President of Strategic Technology and Vice President of U.S. Operations.

Mr. Logan started his career at Halliburton in 1978 as an engineer-in-training in the Company’s New Orleans, Louisiana division. Over the next several years, he held numerous technical and sales positions in Louisiana and Texas.

He first entered the Company’s management ranks in 1989 as Manager of the Liberal, Kansas district. In 1993, he moved to Houston where he served in several positions within Integrated Solutions before being promoted to Division Vice President in 1999.

Mr. Logan has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Southwestern Louisiana, and he is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). He has authored several papers and patents on various technologies. He serves on the Advisory Board for the Petroleum Engineering Departments of Texas A&M and Texas Tech Universities.
