Gene M. Narahara is a senior reservoir engineering advisor at Chevron Energy Technology Company in Houston. His technical area of interest is deepwater developments. Previously, he had worked for ExxonMobil and Phillips Petroleum. He holds B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University. Gene is a recipient of the SPE Distinguished Member Award.
