Application Information

Prospective graduate students--please note that our Department guidelines require that we have your completed application on file prior to discussions/inquiries for admission or financial assistance. We certainly encourage you to correspond with faculty and the Graduate Programs staff, but we ask that you limit your contact with faculty to introductions and discussions of technical interest.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND THE FACULTY SOLICITATIONS FOR ADMISSION OR FUNDING. ALL SUCH INQUIRIES SHOULD BE SENT TO THE GRADUATE PROGRAMS OFFICE.

We regret that we CANNOT "pre-evaluate" candidates--you must submit a completed application to Texas A&M University.

When you apply, either on paper or via the Internet, please send Ms. Schuler an e-mail notifying her that you have done so. The University Admissions Office holds all applications until ALL data are received (i.e., GRE, TOEFL, academic transcripts, etc). It is VERY important that we know you have applied to our program.

The majority of admissions will be made in the Fall of each year. However, exceptions are made for outstanding students who apply for spring.
