Dr. Peter P. Valkó's primary interest is stimulation of hydrocarbon producing wells. His activities involve design, optimization and evaluation of hydraulic fracturing operations. He has published more than 20 scholarly papers, coauthored several books (mainly on hydraulic fracturing.) His broader fields of interest include mathematical modeling, identification and optimization of processes involving fluid flow and deformation of solids. He is also active in developing computational methods. Dr. Valkó has taught for 20 years at the university level in the U.S., Austria, and Hungary; and conducted research in Russia .
